The Caravan Controversy persuaded me to vote DEMOCRAT tomorrow

LINK ? And there are 800 in the group. Not 80.

The fact that they pumped up the Caravan “Invasion” so much prior to the midterms just goes to show how ineffective at governing Republicans truly are, they had nothing!

So they tried their best at pumping up anger/fear and failed in spectacular fashion.

#201

Should we just open the borders to all the poor in the world?

#202

Don’t have a link. It was an interview on a local radio show here in san diego.
You might find it on Carl DeMaio’s podcast. They sent a reporter to an AirBnB where 80 migrants were sharing a house.

#203

The laws that dictate how to enter the country…“legally”. Those laws. If they’d break those, what other laws do they not care about?

#204

They havent entered the country

#205

Climbing over the fence and running through holes for starters. Doing such is illegal. They should be taking pictures of everyone doing that, and when they go for the interview for asylum, deny them for breaking US law.

#206

They climbed to the top of the fence, just like they did in the last caravan. It bears repeating - just like they did in the last caravan. Do you remember that?

#207

And THEY broke the law in the last caravan as well.

That SHOULD be automatic disqalification from asylum, legal entry, the who shebang.

#208

I love how the WE article is saying those at the fence are from the caravan and cites the NPR article. But the NPR article says the first group of the caravan to arrive in Tijuana are an 80-person group of LGBT individuals and it does not talk about them attempting to climb the fence. Their plan is to apply for asylum at a port of entry…

At best, the WE is mixing narratives.

#209

k…so your opinion agrees that they should not be considered for asylum if they do?

#210

Maybe you were wrong.

“A few people pitched tents at the Tijuana beach plaza while most, like Henry Salinas, 30, of Honduras, planned to sleep there in the open. Saying he intended to wait for thousands more in the caravan to arrive, Salinas said he hoped to jump the border fence in a large group at the same time, overwhelming Border Patrol agents.”

According to US and International law, their case for asylum must be heard. Whether or not asylum is granted will be done on an idividual basis.

#212

Their case for asylum has to be heard. The fact that they illegally entered the country should not help their case, but we will soon see that we don’t have the infrastructure to deal with the asylum seekers. Trump should have sent judges and their staff instead of the military.

#213

Breaking the law in my book . . . emphasis in my book . . . should be an automatic disqualification and a one one ticket home.

#214

We went through this just 6 months ago. It’s not hard to figure out what’s going to happen here.

#216

@Smyrna You accused me, yesterday, of perpetuating a lie. I backed my assertion. When are you going to back yours?

#218

You referred to “a few posts back” and did not specific when I directly asked for clarification here:

So try again. Accusing me of perpetuating a lie is the same as calling me a liar, as far as I’m concerned, and that’s a no-no around these parts.

I provided my sources with links. Have the common courtesy to do the same.

That is exactly what the Democrat Party Leadership wants. They need to flood the country with poverty stricken, poorly educated, low skilled foreigners who will be dependent upon government for their necessities of life and will thus vote for democrat leaders who promise to give them free government cheese.

The Democrat Party Leadership is always about creating dependency through government “programs” which they finance by taxing hard working people’s paychecks, which they transfer to a dependent class trapped on the Democrat Party Leadership’s free cheese plantation.

If today’s socialist leaders like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders, Stacey Abrams, Kyrsten Sinema, Nancy Pelosi, Andrew Gillum, etc., were really determined to help the working poor, rather than conning them for their vote to gain and keep power, they would be demanding an end to the “Temporary Victory Tax” of 1943 which now robs the bread that hard working people living in our nation’s inner cities earn from the sweat of their labor ___ an insidious tax designed by Democrat Leaders which helps to trap our nation’s working poor on the socialist’s leaders free cheese plantation by hindering them from accumulating wealth and financial independence.

If we can make 51 percent of America’s population dependent upon the federal government for its subsistence, we can then bribe them for their vote, keep ourselves in power and keep the remaining portion of America’s productive population enslaved to pay the bills ____ Our Socialist Fifth Column open border democrat leaders’ long term strategy
